ABOUT US

At Refurbishing Foods we upcycle byproducts and turn them into new foods. We focus on circular economy in the food sector, where we consider biowaste as a resource that can create value and contributes to economic growth. With Refurbishing Foods, we wish to accommodate retailers, restaurents, consumers and producers in the food industry, where sustainablity and circular economy are on the agenda.

VISION

Recontructing the food industry

We want to eliminate the enormous food waste seen in the food industry.

We believe that by maximizing the usage of food product, and thereby making it economically feasible for companies to upcycle their byproducts, we will prepare the food industry for a more sustainable future.

 

OUR PRODUCTS (IN THE MAKING)

All our products contain organic and locally produced ingredients. But what really makes them intereseting is the upcycled part!

CRISPBREAD

Our crispbread contains 40% upcycled fruits and vegetables as well as 15% hemp seed. This makes the product high in both protein and fiber!

FRUITLEATHER

Our fruitleather contain 85% upcycled fruits and vegetables. It can be enjoyed as is, or fry and try the crispy version!

Lime Sorbet

SORBET

Our sorbet contain 30% upcycled fruits and vegetables, as well as 5% upcycled aquafabe as an eggwhite  substitute. This makes it a great and fluffy sorbet that can be enjoyed by vegans too!
